BIOGRAPHY
Having been heavily trained at the Public Defender's Office in New York, Victor started his career as a trial lawyer. During his early law school years, he was nationally chosen to participate in a program in Los Angeles, California, working for the District Attorney's Office, further learning and acquiring the skills of speaking on one's feet, demonstrating aggressive representation and ultimately displaying an extremely high form of professional advocacy. During his third year of law school, Victor completed his legal education at the internationally renowned law school of Georgetown University studying Constitutional Law under the tutelage of nationally renowned scholars and law professors. As a trial lawyer, Victor firmly believes in the importance of voir dire (French and Latin term: "to say what is true") during trial. The Firm prides itself in Victor's successful results for his clients, including having lost only one felony jury trial. Despite his abilities, please note that no trial has any guaranteed results, and neither he nor the Firm guarantees or implies to guarantee the results of your case. Nevertheless and notably, his latest trial involved multiple felony counts in the Superior Court of Washington resulting in NOT GUILTY verdicts on all counts, thus releasing his client from the grip of the Prosecutor and causing the court to dismiss all criminal charges pending.
Victor Ro is admitted to the Bar in the State of Washington and is a member of the Washington State Association for Justice (formerly "Washington State Trial Lawyer's Association") serving as an "Eagle", a membership in which less than only 5% of lawyers in the State of Washington participate.
Other cases have involved Civil Litigation, including Employment Litigation, Medical Malpractice/Dental Malpractice, Personal Injury, Automobile Accidents, Cruise Ship Slip & Fall Accident, Unemployment Benefits Litigation, ERISA & Pension Benefits Litigation, Family Law/Temporary Protection Order Litigation, and other civil matters in both State and Federal Court. The office and THE RO LAW FIRM has also handled more transactional matters such as Bankruptcy, Franchise Licensing, and Business Contracts. Legal areas of heavy dispute often involve Bad Faith Insurance practices, ERISA/Pension Benefits disputes, and Employment related matters.
